Swiss Researchers Struggle to Get Animal Experiments Approved

Switzerland seems to take the use of animals in research far more seriously than Australian authorities do.

“Switzerland has some of the strictest animal protection laws in the world, and as a result, the quantity of animals used in research has steadily declined over the years. Between 2008 and 2017, for example, the number dropped by more than 100,000 per year.”
